The creation of Creative Director Todd Kamps and Interior Designer Ashley Redmond, Branch Handmade was established in 2008 on a creative whim. Currently Branch Handmade produces and creates a growing collection of hand screen printed clothing as well as textiles for the home. The unique and one of a kind designs are created from the personal photography collection or original illustrations by Ashley and Todd. From there each piece is hand screen printed. Branch Handmade is currently comprised of their popular pillowcase collection that started it all, as well as tea towels, duvet covers, blankets and an expanding apparel line for men and women. Branch Handmade has been featured in such publications as Time Out New York, Get Married Magazine, Boho Magazine, Home Beautiful Australia, numerous design blogs such as Apartment Therapy and Decor8 as well as being featured on HGTV'S My First Place. Branch Handmade is currently available in over 70 independent boutiques stateside and abroad.
Ashley Redmond is an interior designer with a background in visual merchandising, furniture and product design. Having run her own retail store, as well as having worked extensively on the wholesale side of the industry Ashley was inspired to start her own line of products and with her husband Todd created Branch Handmade. She currently runs all aspects of Branch Handmade and lives with Todd and their two rescued mutts Olive and Pixel in beautiful Marin County, CA.
Todd Kamps is a Creative Director currently working in the marketing industry. He has worked in all aspects of the design industry over the past 14 years; including small agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and fashion/lifestyle publications. His passion is the creative endeavor of Branch Handmade where his love of photography, fine art and print all co-mingle. In his spare time, of which there is little, you can find Todd riding his vintage motorcycle along the California coast.
Rescued off of doggie death row at the 11th hour, Olive, is a Husky/Shepherd mix with one blue eye and one brown eye that always gets a second glance. She enjoys sleeping, being petted, eating cheese and playing ball (but mostly sleeping).
Pixel, is a rambunctious, wacky Bloodhound/Rhodesian Ridgeback that always makes us laugh. She enjoys swimming in the ocean when it's way too cold, watching birds fly away and wishing she could too, stealing socks and being the office paper shredder.
